Leaving!

Well, almost. Leaving on Tuesday, so soon! And I have like a million gazillion things to do before then. But I'm so excited! Thought I'd share my joy with the rest of the blog world :) Next time promise, I'll tell you about the new super cool phones that I can't figure out.

New Hair :)

So my appointment pulled through, I mean... you can never be TOO sure of things... and I really like super like it :) It'll be ever so much better for Europe (ie: no hairdryer!) and it's easier to manage, dries fast, and super simple styling. Oh, and my bangs are finally blended from waaayyy back in October when I cut them for Halloween. :)

After!

Really so much better. Plus I can wear it down. I have layers. And... the perm is gone! Well kind of. The last few inches are still perm but at least when I take a shower now my hair won't turn into one big mess. Which is helpful.

Done

Well I was done on Thursday actually. But it's really just been a whirlwind of activity until now. And really, I still have like 50 things to do before next Tuesday - when I leave for Europe! So an update on what my last few days have been like:

Thursday: Graduation and Gradnite

Friday: Sleep, Decorate, and Family Party

Saturday: wake up at 4:40am, Garage Sale that got rained out at 12pm, and babysitting in Los Olivos until 11pm. Driving in the rain on San Marcos Pass sleep deprived.

Sunday: Sleep, sleep, sleep. Clean. And more cleaning.

Monday: Errands and visiting with grandparents. Oh. And getting a new phone. Finally.

Tuesday: The checklist begins and business continues. Haircut (hopefully) and ring pickup :)

So I've had a busy last few days. Just maybe. Good news is garage sale was successful and operation 'get rid of stuff' was too. Or it will be because we still have to get rid of everything we didn't sell. But that's coming up! Also good news is that I now have a phone that works and my dad is finally in the 21st century. But more on that later... enjoy the pics of graduation :)

^ at 2am in the morning = kind of awesome ^

GRAD.

Oh my. I'm graduating today. It kind of hasn't sunk in you know? Like I'm really ready to be done with high school and onto summer. I'm even ready to move across the whole country. It's just weird. Like the ceremony part of it. Because, let's face it. We've been off since last Friday.

Actually this whole past few days have been weird. Everything is so rushed. Well, not really. I take my time. There's just so much to do in so little time that I think things are being rushed. Things that should be enjoyed and savored. Like cake. Mmm. I want to see my cake now :) And I really wish I had more time to blog. Because this is like my journal. And in a big step forward in life I feel like you need to write down your feelings. As in, right now. I'm a little overwhelmed. Mostly sleepy and planning for tomorrow. But more on the next 3 VERY BUSY days another time. Mostly now I just want to write about the last few days so I can remember these happy times. :)

Well, Friday was our last official day, and a 1/2 day. So we all went to get some yummy food and then down to the beach. Pretty much we all burned. Well, kind of. I, as usual, didn't burn that badly.

Saturday I did a bunch of stuff. Mainly getting stuff together for Zaynah's and my garage sale this Saturday! Cleaned out a good 22 rubber maids. Brought it down to like 1 and a 1/2? I'd say it was successful! Then it was off to my new fave restaurant, BJ's Brewery, with friends. Definitely got told about all the wine and beer specials. Pretty sure they were talking to me. Anyway, best food every if you haven't been. Try the Red Velvet Pazooki!

Sunday was rest day. And chore day.

Monday, Labor Daaay! Down to the water front with our VIP parking and the friends! Definitely a day full of tanning, paddleboarding, and drip castles. Yeah. That cool. Also made a 5 year old friend along with the uncle trying to hit on us. Does it say something when you're 35 and hitting on an 18 year old making sand castles? Just wondering.

Tuesday involved more running around and errands. Preparing for massive garage sale. And then took Grandma Kozaki to new fave restaurant! Seriously... check it out. It's not often that people of all ages enjoy the same food. But actually.

Yesterday. Grad Practice. Practice. Practice. And Yearbooks! Which, by the way, were much better received than I thought!

So maybe that's why this whole thing just hit me. Well, the ceremony part. It's a little exciting. Nervous maybe? Or ready. I think it's good that I've been busy though, so I don't have to think about it. Because, even though I'm so ready to be done, I guess I'll kind of miss knowing what's up and being upperclassmen. But it's time. So, so long SM.
