More Art :)
Just a little small fun piece I did for a present. :) I promise, I'll do a real blog post next time.

Art Update
Because I'm still to hyped up to really write anything out, here's another one of my paintings. :)
It's one of my favorites because of how fun it is and one of the first ones that I painted. It's from last year painted in the style of a dyptic.

DONE.
Finally done with high school. No more finals. No more books. No more, no more!!! So incredibly thrilled and excited and yay! I can't even sit still right now so I'm not going to - on hiatus until further notice. Getting food and catching up on leisure. Be back soon :)

VIP
Anyone else go to the 4th Pirates Premier? So worth it. Don't even care that I can't remember school on Friday or babysitting after, this movie was well worth the wait. And since we arrived really early, we also watched part of the FREE 1st movie screening. That's right. And when they had to clean the theater they put us in priority seating so we got totally PRIME seats. This is so definitely on my recommend list.
Art: First Oil
Clearly after both a freehand drawing and beginning painting class I've improved. This is my first oil painting and first self- directed project with no instruction and no help. Please excuse the shiny quality on the top of the painting due to my camera flash.

And Just Because...
And, as an added bonus, and because I feel bad about neglecting my blog, please enjoy these EXTREMELY old paintings. Feel free, laugh. I know they're bad and awkward and some aren't even actual paintings. Please note that ALL of these were before I took my first art class.
Tomorrow I'll share some more promising paintings that are recent, just so you know I'm not lying about actually being like a ton better at painting than I was.
And let's not forget, click click click that FOLLOW button to the right!
Stop Motion
Sorry I've been a little inactive guys! Such a busy time finishing up with senior year and organizing madness everyday. Anyway, I'm too lazy to write about something so please enjoy this really awesome video. I'm friends with the people in it!

Bat Day
Yesterday I rather unexpectedly went to Disneyland. Did you know that May 8th is Bat Day at Disneyland?
Not going to lie. It was one of the more interesting days I've spent there. Just imagine tons of people dressed up like this parading around the park. No but actually, parading. And no exaggeration there was hundreds of them. Young adults, children, grandma's. Everyone.
So what is Bat Day? Not entirely sure but it seemed like a cross between goth and anime. So let's go with that. Oh, and add super tall combat boots and parasols.
Needless to say, it was one of the better days to go to Disneyland.

Adventures
You know what's the best part of being a student on Friday nights? You can go on completely random adventures because you know you have Saturdays to recover.
Last night all started when I way carrying my dog and sliced my toe open. With a staple. From our really old couch. Not that it hurt that much, but there was blood everywhere. I think it's time for a new couch dad. Not to mention bandaids. You think with how prepared I am for everything and how accident prone I am we would have bandaids in the house. Nope. So I had to settle for pre-wrap my entire foot. Typical.
Thankfully the evening went up from there. Creeping out the waiters at Pizza Mizza and coloring their kids menus was only half of it. It was Whole Foods for dessert and then off to my high school to ride Razor scooters in the dark. Do you know how much fun it is to ride scooters at a deserted high school trying to avoid janitors? And then we went off to this one cool kids house to throw axes, shoot bee-be guns, and zip-line in the dark... what? To top it all of the entire night we crammed 4 people in the smallest car ever that just happened to be stick shift. You never really realize how tall you are until you have to sit sideways with you head touching the ceiling while zipping over speed bumps trying not to get a concussion. That's a joke people. I'm like 5'6".

Filled with Summer Longing
Hot. Sticky. Sweaty. Gross.
I'm so excited for summer. Can't you tell? No, but really, who isn't ready for a nice summer vacation? When the warm weather is actually welcome because you can relax. Ahh. Iced tea and swimming pools. And traveling. Most important traveling. I've decided I need to marry rich so I can just spend my life traveling. Kidding. Kind of...
This summer I'm off to Europe on what I'm hoping will be like the most exciting thing since getting my braces off or our new swimming pool built. Part of it is with a 'senior' group. Kind of a senior trip but not really since not everyone was invited. It'll be 2 weeks of London, France, and Italian adventures. Should be interesting seeing as everyone on this trip isn't complete besties. But hey, it'll be too hard NOT to have fun right?
After that I'm off to Turkey with one of my best friends! Soexcitedthaticantevencomprehendmyexcitedness. Yeah. That excited. It should be an amazing a one of a kind experience seeing as I don't actually speak Turkish. Thankfully my friend does though. So you know, that's kind of good. We'll be staying with her family and apparently are getting treated royally. What more can I ask for? We have our own chauffeur after all.
AND! As if all this weren't enough, when I come back my family and I are going to Pismo for a week to celebrate my uncle's 50th birthday. It will definitely be nice to come back and then spend a week doing nothing but relaxing on the beach. Please, I'll be way too jet-lagged to do anything else. Looking forward to visiting Hearst Castle though.
AND THEN: I'll set off on a journey all the way across the country to attend Gordon College in Wenham, Mass. Yeah. Beat that summer everyone. Just try.
