The 18th Year in Review

I started off the new year right by raising my glass in yb and working hard. Clearly.

We collected cardboard.

And built a boat.

And raced it in the 1st ever Royal Regatta.

I went to Dland with some cool people.

And was forced to watch a terrible movie.

I went to prom with these folks.

And had a good time.

We announced the yb cover.

The REAL yb cover.

And presented it at our awards ceremony.

And then we graduated in style.

And were really happy about it.

We spent grad nite partying it up in Dland.

Went to the 4th Pirates movie.

Enjoyed summer and freedom.

Went to iMarinari to see our favorite artist.

And then ventured across the Atlantic to London.

And Normandy.

And Paris.

To take yb worthy photos.

We also visited sites from Dan Brown books.

And then we ventured to warmer climates.

And visited more famous stuff.

Then I spent 3 weeks in Turkey and met some fantastic people before I had to return to reality.

I made my way to Hearst Castle.

And spent time with family.

I moved into college.

Made some new friends.

Won goldfish that I eventually killed.

Saw the fall colors for the 1st time.

Made my way into Boston.

Became educated in nail art.

Went to Winter Ball and other fun college activities.

Came home and celebrated Christmas with family again.

Became a (almost) legit runner.

Looked at Christmas lights.

And realized how much I love SB and my life.

Art: Underwater Scape

I haven't done an art update in a while. Let's fix that. Here's a piece that took me the better part of a semester. It's really not that big - but the starfish was a really big challenge. I still feel as if I didn't do this piece justice, but it ended up okay. It also looks a lot better in person. That's ok. It was completed about a year ago, just in time for my Dad's Christmas present.

Run Run Run

Since I've been home I have been trying to run. Admittedly the last few days I have been failing. But hey, it WAS Christmas. Although with views like these...

...  there really should be no excuse that keeps me from running. Which brings me to Christmas gift #3....

Running Shoes.
Hopefully tomorrow I can make it out.
